The Varne has a strong fishing section with many competitions being organised throughout the year. One of our members, Tony Hills, is the local tackle shop dealer and has information on all aspects of fishing in the area. So whether you are a solitary angler or wish to join us for a days competition you are very welcome to come along and join the club. Launch vehicles are provided so that anglers can launch from the beach or you can join the ‘mud buggies’ and get out at almost any state of the tide.
